The 39th Annual Delane Neighborhood Toy Drive is ready to kick off this Saturday. Members of the community will be able to take photos with Santa and help with donations to two local organizations.
Toy drive organizer Marlo Walburn says this drive is important because the toys collected go to support the Salvation Army and the monetary donations go to SOS Inc.
The toy drive will start at 6 p.m. and finish at 9 p.m. starting at Delane Drive and continuing on Darlene Way, Diane Avenue, Hillcrest Drive and will end with the new expansion at Arrowhead Drive. Walburn says they expanded the toy drive so more members of the community can join and support with donations.
Members of the community can drop off their donations at 1830 Hillcrest Drive.
