The Emporia High boys swim and dive team will compete in its final meet before Christmas. They’ll head to Shawnee Mission West for a meet.
Junior Alex Allemang, who’s in his first year of diving is seeing improvement. He added he’s very close to qualifying for state.
Competition will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Shawnee Mission District Aquatic Center. The meet serves as a chance for the Spartans to swim and dive at the state site, a place they want to be at in the middle of Feburary.
