The Unbound Gravel registration for the XL 350 miles race closes this Thursday, selected entries will challenge their bicycling through the Flint Hills with zero support.
This is the fourth year of the XL 350 miles race since it opened in 2018. Gravel City Adventure Ambassador Treva Worrell says she has seen an increase in this year’s entries for the race, especially after COVID-19.
Marketing Specialist for off-road events Mason Mohn says the XL 350 mile race is a challenge for many athletes as they bike self-supported through the different terrains that compose the Flint Hills.
The deadline to register for the lottery for the XL 350 miles race is Dec. 15. The registration is free and the selected entries will be announced on Dec. 20.
The selected entries will have to pay a $250 entry fee and will go to the race on June 2, 2023.
