The Kansas City Royals announced that they have signed right-handed pitcher Jordan Lyles to a two-year deal. In a corresponding move, infielder Ryan O’Hearn was designated for assignment.
Lyles is a 12-year Major League veteran who has pitched for seven different teams, including Houston, Colorado, San Diego, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Texas, and Baltimore last season. He was 12-11 with a 4.42 ERA.
