Morris County deputies have arrested one person on suspected drug activity.
The Sheriff’s Office says deputies conducted a traffic stop in White City around 7:40 pm Friday, and the K-9 Kimber alerted to a smell of narcotics in the vehicle. Deputies then conducted a probable cause search, allegedly finding unspecified amounts of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
The driver, 30-year-old Jordan Lee Maddox of White City, arrested and jailed on suspicion of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, an outstanding probation violation warrant and trafficking contraband into a correctional facility. The type of contraband has not been specified.
Formal charges are pending.
