A man wanted in two Louisiana parishes will have extradition hearings in Lyon County next month.
Separate hearings for Thomas Lee Furry are set for Feb. 13 before Judge Doug Jones.
Furry waived extradition as part of separate hearings Thursday. He’s accused of violating probation in Bossier Parish and Caddo Parish, with the alleged violation in Caddo Parish involving sex offender registration policies.
Separately, a man accused of being a fugitive from California had his extradition case dismissed.
Prosecutors had asked Judge Doug Jones to delay a hearing for Charles Steward Pettway, but Jones decided against granting that request and instead dismissed the case without prejudice, meaning prosecutors can refile at a later time.
Pettway had been accused of avoiding a felony obstruction warrant issued this past July by Sonoma County.
