The Emporia State track and field teams resumed the indoor season at the Central Missouri Invitational Friday, the men came home with a 1st place finish and the women finished in 2nd place in the 6-team meet.
Individually for the men, Jack Watson had the fastest time in the 200-meter dash. He was also part of the 4 x 400 relay with Guy Ramos, Brock Merz and Hayden Goodpaster that also had the fastest time.
Ty Anderson won the long jump and Josiah Driggers won the triple jump.
Travis Morrison provisionally qualified for nationals in the shot put, he finished in 3rd place.
For the women, Lauren Carlson won both the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash.
Abigail Reed won the 600-yard run.
Megan McManus won the pole vault with a provisional mark for nationals.
Ashley Cookson won the triple jump and Emma Seidly placed 1st in the shot put.
