For the 5th year in a row, the Kansas City Chiefs have advanced to the AFC Championship game after outscoring Jacksonville 27-20 Saturday afternoon.
Chiefs Coach Andy Reid earned his 20th playoff win, joining Tom Landry and Bill Belichick as the only Coaches with 20 playoff wins.
Patrick Mahomes, who was injured in the first half and came back to finish the game threw 2 touchdown passes. 1 to Travis Kelce and 1 to Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
Chad Henne, who took over at quarterback while Mahomes was out, threw a touchdown pass to Travis Kelce.
Kelce caught a playoff record 14 passes, two for touchdowns.
Harrison Butker added two field goals.
The Chiefs will play the winner of Sunday’s game between Buffalo and Cincinnati.
In the NFC Philadelphia routed the New York Giants 38-7.
Sunday San Francisco hosts the Dallas Cowboys.
