The Emporia High boys swim team competed in the Maize South Invitational Saturday.
The Spartans’ top finish of the day was the 200-freestyle relay team of Logan Woydziak, Tyler Luthi, Shane Anderson, and Will Walker finished in seventh place.
Ian Navarro finished ninth in the 500-yard freestyle and 14th in the 200-yard freestyle. Woydziak was 10th in the 50-yard freestyle. He also was 13th in the 100-yard freestyle.
Luthi finished 11th in the 100-yard butterfly. Walker finished 12th in the 100-yard backstroke.
Up next for the Spartan swimmers is the Centennial League meet in Topeka on Thursday.
