Pretrial hearings are ahead for a man accused of assaulting and/or interfering with law enforcement on three separate occasions two years ago.
Judge Doug Jones set upcoming hearings for March 9 in the three separate cases against Lance David Fessler. Judge Lee Fowler will preside over all three hearings that afternoon.
Fessler stands accused of aggravated assault on law enforcement in one case dating back to February 2021 and interference in cases dating back to March and July 2021. He could learn potential trial dates for all three cases at the hearings next month.
Meanwhile, two drug-related cases against Paul Daniel Kienast will have hearings Wednesday in Lyon County District Court.
Kienast has a preliminary hearing at 9:30 am as a case involving possession of stolen tools, methamphetamine possession and paraphernalia possession moves forward after an alleged incident almost a month ago.
Kienast also has a first appearance at 1:15 pm in a case accusing him of drug distribution — officially distributing up to 100 grams of methamphetamine — as well as paraphernalia possession after an alleged incident Monday.
