Insurance matters will be part of the conversation at the Lyon County Commission action meeting Thursday.
Commissioners will get a presentation on premiums from Jes Pfannenstiel of KWORC near the start of the meeting. Later, Zoning Administrator Sam Seeley will present the annual recertification application for ongoing participation in the Consumer Rating System program, which gives landowners discounts on flood insurance premiums.
In other business, commissioners could approve a $55,000 bid from GW Van Keppel for a skid steer attachment. They could also approve requests for proposals for what’s call CM-K cover materials for the Highway Department’s annual road sealing project. Also, commissioners could approve adding almost $24,000 in unexpended funds to the Community Corrections adult services grant.
The meeting starts at 9 am Thursday in the County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
