A Harper County woman was officially listed as missing for a time Thursday before being found near Emporia.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation isn’t specifying where 65-year-old Cindy Sue Southern was found Thursday afternoon after issuing a statewide Silver Alert to find her, but the agency says Southern is “safe and doing well.”
Southern had been traveling from Anthony to Topeka on Wednesday along with a moving truck. Before she was found near Emporia, the last known contact with her was late Wednesday night at a convenience store in Wellington.
