Leap of Faith Martial Arts will be high-stepping or rather kicking, all for a great cause this weekend.
The group will be holding a special “kick-a-thon” Sunday afternoon. Organizer Annika Douglas explains the kick-a-thon will see students of Leap of Faith taking part in two hours of non-stop kicking with residents offering pledges and donations for the effort.
This is the third year for the kick-a-thon and Douglas says they have added two new elements to the proceedings.
All proceeds from the kick-a-thon will go to support Shiloh Home of Hope’s Family Life Pregnancy Services. The kick-a-thon will run from 2 pm to 4 pm at Leap of Faith Martial Arts located at 521 Commercial Street.
