The #3 Kansas Jayhawks outscored #24 TCU 63-58 Monday night to hang onto their share of 1st place in the Big-12 standings. The Jayhawks led for all but 2:51 of the game. Their biggest lead was by 7. They never trailed by more than 4 points.
Grady Dick led the way with 19 points. Kevin McCullar added 15 points. The Jayhawks improved to 23-5 for the season and 11-4 in the Big 12.
They will host West Virginia Saturday.
Kansas State hosts Baylor Tuesday night in a match-up of top 15 teams.
Kansas State is ranked 14th in the AP poll and Baylor is ranked 9th in the AP poll.
The Wildcats will be looking for the regular season sweep.
Tipoff is set for 6 pm.
