Sentencing is coming April 10 in a Chase County shooting case from last year.
A jury in Cottonwood Falls found Eric Joseph McClure guilty of aggravated battery and felon in possession of a firearm as part of a trial this week.
McClure was charged after an incident along Kansas Highway 130 in western Chase County in May 2022. McClure was charged with allegedly shooting Erik Reyes of Emporia as one SUV passed another. Reyes survived the shooting.
Sentencing will be at 1:30 pm April 10.
