Friday nights Emporia High basketball games with Washburn Rural have been canceled.
The games have been canceled after the passing of Emporia High sophomore Allison Hess.
The games will not be made up.
Sub-state play begins next week. The Emporia High girls open sub-state play Tuesday. The boys open sub-state play Wednesday.
The senior night activities will be rescheduled.
