No injuries were noted after a reported gas leak in east Emporia.
Fire crews went to 1102 Cottonwood and found several apartments with low readings of gas, according to Emporia Fire Battalion Chief Eron Steinlage. The building was evacuated briefly as a precaution but residents have been allowed to return home.
Kansas Gas is now investigating.
