Emporia States baseball team outscored Northeastern State 7-4 to win the final game of a three-game series Saturday.
The Hornets scored 5 runs in the 6th inning to erase a 4-0 deficit.
Kase Johnson drove in 2 of the runs with a single.
Noah Geekie was the winning pitcher giving up 4 runs on 7 hits and 5 strikeouts.
The Hornets are now 5-10 for the season and 1-2 in the MIAA. They will play at Oklahoma Baptist Tuesday.
