Those who are craving a delicious breakfast may want to check out the Emporia Lions Club Breakfast this Saturday morning.
The breakfast has been a long-standing event of Emporia run by the Lions Club dating back to 1989 and is the Club’s only fundraising event of the year. All funds generated from the breakfast ultimately go back into supporting the Lions Club and its causes, explains club member Gary Post.
Post says that overall, the breakfast helps the club year-round and that the whole team is excited.
The Saturday menu consists of biscuits and gravy, link sausage, a fruit cup, and the choice of orange juice, milk, or coffee to drink. It will last from 7:30 a.m until 11:30. Adult tickets are $8 if paid in advance and $10.00 at the door at the Emporia Senior Center. Tickets for children ages 10 and under are $2.50.
