The Emporia State baseball team hosts Fort Hays State in a 3-game series beginning Friday afternoon.
It will be the first game on the new infield turf. Infielder Kadyn Williams likes the new infield.
The Hornets have struggled at the start of the season. Williams hopes this is the weekend it starts to all come together.
The first pitch is set for 3 pm at Glennen Field at the Trusler Sports Complex.
