Emporia firefighters are investigating a small fire in west Emporia from late Saturday.
Firefighters were toned out to 513 La Jara shortly before 5:40 pm. Emporia Fire Battalion Chief Eron Steinlage the “hot spot” fire was found in the insulation floor of an unoccupied trailer home.
The cause of Saturday’s fire is undetermined. Nobody was hurt and damage was minimal.
