A small earthquake developed about 10 miles west of Elmdale early Sunday.
The magnitude 2.5 quake was reported shortly after 5:30 am in far eastern Marion County, about 35 miles due west of Emporia.
No injuries or damage have been reported — and as of 10 am, there have been no reports anybody felt the quake.
