A preliminary hearing is coming Monday in a Lyon County aggravated battery case.
Adrian Aleman Jr faces two counts after an alleged incident in Lyon County a year ago. Further details are pending.
The hearing is at 2 pm before Judge Doug Jones.
Separately, Monday will see a prelim in a Lyon County child abuse case dating back to last year.
Marisela Castillo Tovar is charged with one count of abuse, recklessly causing disfigurement. That count has an alternate of child abuse torture or cruelly beating a child under the age of 18, after an incident involving a preteenager at least once between May 1 and Sept. 1, 2022.
The hearing is at 3 pm before Judge Jones.
