Emporia Fire has completed its investigation into a garage fire that developed in east Emporia early Wednesday.
Battalion Chief Tony Fuller says the official cause will be undetermined.
Firefighters were called to 819 Sunrise shortly after 3:15 am, finding heavy fire and smoke coming from an attached garage on the north side of the house. The origination point has not been divulged. The fire was limited to the garage, but there was smoke damage throughout the house.
No injuries have been reported. Emporia Police, Evergy and Kansas Gas also responded to the house.

Investigators are working to determine how a fire started inside an east Emporia garage early Wednesday.
Emporia Fire was called out to 819 Sunrise just after 3:15 am. Early indications are the fire was limited to the garage, although there was smoke throughout the home.
A cause and origination point are pending. There are no reports of injuries at this time.
