The Lyon County League and Flint Hills League have released their all-league basketball teams.
All LCL honors on the boys side include first team unanimous pick Truman Bailey. Joining Bailey on the first team include Lebo’s Landon Grimmett, Olpe’s Blake Redeker, Hartford’s Ali Smith, Madison’s Bryson Turner, and Burlingame’s Dane Winters.
Second team honorees include Madison’s Gavin Isch, Waverly’s Ben Meehan, Burlingame’s Colby Middleton, Lebo’s Grayson Shoemaker, and Olpe’s Blake Skalsky.
Honorable mention picks are Roman Bayless of Burlingame, Lebo’s Zach Oswald, and Waverly’s Brantley Peterson.
All LCL honors on the girls side include first team selections: Burlingame’s Kaylin Noonan, Brooklyn Jones, and Audrey Peek of Lebo. Jones, Peek, and Noonan are unanimous picks. Other first team honorees include Josie Weers of Southern Coffey County County, Olpe’s Kadey Robert, Lebo’s Saige Hadley and Madison’s Jaelynn Weakley.
Second team honorees include Akyra Traver of Marais des Cygnes Valley, Madison’s Yolaine Luthi, Milly Bailey, and Lily Skalsky of Olpe and Burlingame’s Gracie Simmons.
Honorable Mention selections include Hartford’s Trinity Windle, Madison’s Sarah Miser, MdCV’s Gracen Stahl, Jamea True of SCC, Isabella Tyson of Burlingame, and Waverly’s Josie Romig.
First team honors on the boys side in the Flint Hills League include unanimous picks Landon Boss of Osage City and Lyndon’s Jackson Biggs. Other first team selections include West Franklin’s Trey Rogers, Osage City’s Kaden Kirkpatrick, and Lyndon’s Evan Feuerborn.
Second team selections are Jalen Massey of Lyndon, Cooper Schroer, and Pax Vogel, both of Chase County, Central Heights’ Ethan Rowan, and A.J. Rubio of Mission Valley.
Honorable mention selections include Chase County’s Aidan Eidman and Tucker Groh, Lyndon’s Kaedin Massey, Northern Heights’ Kolden Ryberg, Council Grove’s Brycen Palmquist, Mission Valley’s Kyle Brogan, and West Franklin’s Hunter Criqui.
On the girls side, first team All-Flint Hills League selections included Mission Valley’s Paige Martin, Chase County’sMadelyn Wilson, and Osage City’s Campbell Stark, all three were unanimous selections. Northern Heights’ Teagan Hines and Lyndon’s Jolie Hielscher round out the first team honorees.
Second team selections include Adaline Bloomfield of Mission Valley, Council Grove’s Jessica Filkin, Emma Bailey of West Franklin, Emory Speece of Osage City, and Bailey Brockus of Central Heights.
Honorable Mention selections are Kyplee Jacobson of Mission Valley, Northern Heights’ Kailyn Schlimme, and Lyndon’s Allie Kniesler.
The Centennial League, which Emporia High is in, has not released its all-league selections.
