The city of Madison is looking for qualified consulting firms as potential partners for an upcoming highway improvement project in the city limits.
Madison is in the early stages for a project through the City Connecting Link Improvement Program, also known as CCLIP as organized by the Kansas Department of Transportation, and the city is seeking requests for qualification at this time. Work is tentatively set to begin at the intersection of Kansas Highway 58 and South Fourth and move 660 feet to the east, including a replacement of a reinforced concrete frame culvert; curb, ditch and gutter work; radius return replacements; driveway entrances; sidewalks; and ramps.
Technical proposals are due by March 31, with proposal evaluations taking place April 14 and negotiations with the highest-ranked business to begin around April 17. Click here for more information.
