Trial could take place in June or July as part of a Lyon County case involving accusations of sexual abuse of a teenager.
Isaac Arron Lawrence had potential trial start dates announced as June 12, June 20 or July 10 as part of a hearing in Lyon County District Court this week. A status hearing June 7 will set the official start date, with a motions hearing now on the docket May 25.
Judge Jeff Larson will preside.
Lawrence faces one count of rape and two counts of aggravated indecent liberties, both involving the same child between the ages of 14 and 16, after an alleged incident on Christmas Eve 2021. Lawrence is also accused of furnishing alcohol to two children as part of the incident.
Separately, a preliminary hearing in a Lyon County rape and aggravated sexual battery case has been pushed to May.
Timothy Ray Davis is accused of illegal sexual activity with a victim incapable of giving consent due to alcohol and/or drugs.
