A preliminary hearing connected to an alleged burglary of the old Cedar Point Elementary School building has been delayed, while the court process has started for the co-defendant in the case.
Jacobsen Eells was initially set for a prelim Thursday, but that was moved to April 20 due to a schedule conflict with Eells’ defense attorney, Dakota Loomis.
Meanwhile, Eells’ co-defendant, Kathryn Culbert, had her first appearance in Chase County District Court on Friday. She was set for a preliminary hearing April 18.
Both Culbert and Eells are charged with burglary of a non-dwelling; misdemeanor theft; and possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and paraphernalia after an alleged incident in late January.
