USD 253 Emporia is getting set for the launch of its newly updated website next week.
According to District Director of Community Relations Lyndel Landgren, the district’s new website will go online next Friday, Mar. 31. Landgren says the update will provide several benefits to district patrons including being more mobile-friendly.
Additionally, the website will now be available in five different languages including English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese and French. The update will not change the district’s current URL — USD 253.org — according to Landgren.
Current plans are to begin the transition around 9 am Friday. Landgren says the transition may take several hours and there could be some “downtime” as that process takes place.
