Saturday night marked the final night popular eatery and bar The Station will operate under its current monicker and ownership.
The business, located at 402 Merchant Street, officially closed its doors for the final time Saturday night. Owner Marie Haba tells KVOE News they were approached by a buyer recently and agreed to sell the business, however, she could not offer further details.
Haba adds that with operating two additional local businesses, The Junction and Charlie’s Place, family time was becoming scarce. She tells KVOE News that selling the business will allow her to spend more time with her children and grandchildren in the coming days.
Haba purchased the building, then known as the Brickyard, back in May of 2021 with the Station opening for business in August of that same year. Haba says the sale of the Station will not effect her family’s ownership or operation of their other local businesses.
