The Emporia State women’s tennis team was defeated by Nebraska Kearny 6-1 Saturday.
Anatasia Pesic won at number 6 singles.
Caroline Henry and Andrea Santiago won at number 3 doubles.
Kearney won at 1 and 2 doubles to win the doubles point and won 5 of the 6 singles matches.
The Emporia State women host Fort Hays State Sunday.
