Residents with concerns about vaccines and their effectiveness are encouraged to go online for a special webinar Wednesday.
Two former advocates against vaccinations and now vaccine supporters, Heather Simpson and Lydia Greene, will present information on topics ranging from vaccine ingredients to herd immunity, according to Lyon County Public Health. The webinar runs from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.

The vaccine webinar comes after Lyon County passed the three-year mark of its first COVID-19 case as reported by Lyon County Public Health on March 22, 2020, and the three-year anniversary of the first area case as reported March 18, 2020,
by Morris County. Since then, Lyon County has reported over 12,300 total cases, or a little more than a third of the county’s total population, along with 135 deaths connected to the virus.
