Sentencing in a Lyon County sexual misconduct case is coming in May.
Tuesday, Harvey Kent Grandstaff was found guilty of one count of aggravated indecent liberties connected to incidents from December 2021 where the victim was around 15 years old at the time of the incident. Grandstaff was acquitted of two charges of lewd and lascivious conduct regarding allegations of illegal activity between 2010 and 2012 with the same child.
Grandstaff also has prior convictions in several cases including aggravated incest in 1991 from a Lyon County case that originated in 1989.
Sentencing will be May 2 at 10 am before Judge Jeffry Larson.
