The Emporia State women’s tennis team defeated a shorthanded McPherson 4-1 in their duel Friday. McPherson was playing with 5 players.
The Lady Hornets won the doubles point winning at number 1 and number 2 doubles.
Karen Santiago won at number 2 singles and Anastasia Pesic won at number 3 singles to wrap up the win.
Both the Emporia State women and men play at Northwest Missouri State on Tuesday.
