The Emporia State baseball team rallied for a 16-10 win over Rogers State Saturday.
The Hornets trailed 6-0 going to the bottom of the 5th inning before exploding for 7 runs to take an 8-6 lead.
Rogers State answered back with 3 runs to take a 9-8 lead.
The game was tied at 10 going to the bottom of the 8th when Emporia State scored 6 runs to take the lead for good.
Senior Chandler Bloomer wad 3 for 5 with 3 RBI and 4 runs scored.
Emporia State Coach Seth Wheeler liked the way his team kept battling.
The Hornets improve to 13-20 for the season and 8-11 in MIAA play.
