Some good news and some not-so-good news for the Kansas City Royals Sunday.
The good news, after being shut out in the first two games of the season they finally scored.
The not-so-good news, they did not score enough runs to win the game and have started the season 0-3 after losing to the Minnesota Twins 7-4.
Edward Olivares hit a solo home run in the 2nd inning for the Royals first run of the season. Olivares also drove in a run in the 9th inning. Matt Duffy hit a 2 run home run in the 7th inning for the Royals.
A 3-run home run in the top of the 7th was the difference for Minnesota.
Monday night the Royals begin a 4 game series with the Toronto Blue Jays.
