The Lyon County Fairgrounds is set to welcome hundreds of law enforcement personnel from across the state Tuesday.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting its annual three-day spring training seminar at the Anderson Building. The seminar will include featured speakers covering a range of scenarios including case reviews, investigative techniques and more.
Speakers will include law enforcement experts from across the country and Lyon County Sheriff Jeff Cope says having input from individuals outside of the state provides an important perspective.
The seminar will run through Thursday afternoon. Cope says more than 180 individuals are registered to attend from all corners of Kansas.
