Drivers northeast of Emporia are noting delayed travel Friday morning.
Lyon County deputies say a semi was trying to negotiate a curve near the intersection of Kansas Highway 99 and Burlingame Road, but some of the trailer wheels went off the highway and got stuck, leading to a traffic backup.
Deputies say drivers can go to Road 230 either by using P or S, depending on the road they are currently using. Deputies believe the situation should be resolved with traffic back to normal by 8 am or shortly afterward.
