Residents are invited to roll into the Lyon County Fairgrounds parking lot for a special Easter service Sunday morning.
Once again the congregation of Messiah Lutheran Church will be hosting its drive-in service at the Fairgrounds beginning at 8:30 am. Pastor Eddie Hosch will be delivering the Easter message and says this is always an exciting time for the church.
Based on attendance from years past, Hosch says they are anticipating anywhere from 300-400 people from all walks of life.
Those wishing to attend the service are asked to enter the fairgrounds off 12th Ave. Donations of non-perishable food items will also be accepted throughout the service with all collections later being donated to the Salvation Army of Emporia.
KVOE will broadcast the drive-in service on 1400 AM, 96.9 FM and KVOE.com. For more information visit the Messiah Lutheran Church website, messiahlutheran.org, or find them on Facebook.
