Former Emporia High golfer Gentry Scheve helped the Nebraska men’s golf team make school history Monday at the University of Missouri Tiger Collegiate.
The Huskers had a school-record best round of 14 under par. Scheve finished the round with his lowest score at Nebraska, 6 under par 66. The best round for any Nebraska Golfer this season.
Nebraska finished the tournament in seventh place. Gentry Scheve finished in a tie for 12th place at 8 under par. It was Scheve’s career-best finish.
