The Lyon County Highway Department has opened a county road north of Emporia and will close another near Olpe soon.
The Highway Department says it has reopened Road 385 west of Road H, a dead-end road about 20 miles north of Emporia.
Meanwhile, Road 70 between Kansas Highway 99 and Road K-5 will close to thru traffic beginning Monday. Highway Department crews will repair a bridge deck, meaning that stretch of road will be closed until the project is finished.
