On the final day of the 100th KU relays, Emporia State had 11 top-10 finishes including 1 Champion.
Brooks Lowe won the javelin throw with a toss of 212 feet 7 inches.
Aiden Hicks finished in 6th place in the javelin.
Travis Morrison finished 3rd place in the shot put. Will Herren finished 7th and Zach Sulzen-Watson finished 9th in the shot put.
The men’s 4 by 100 relay team of Kingsley Bennett, Carter Cox, Ty Anderson, and Isaac Tarango finished 4th.
The women’s 4 by 100 relay team of Kadaisha Mpwo, Lauren Carlson, Ashley Wildeman, and Jasmin Hurla finished 5th.
Jasmin Hurla finished 5th in the 400-meter dash.
Chase Rooney finished in 8th place in the 400-meter hurdles.
Madison Vermetten finished 8th in the discus.
The meet was halted due to weather before the 4 by 400 relays could be run.
In the high school relays Landon Boss of Osage City finished 4th in the javelin and 7th in the shot put.
Ty Anderson finished 10th in the long jump.
