The Emporia State football team put the wraps on spring practices with a scrimmage Saturday.
Coach Garin Higgins said it was a good way to wrap up a successful spring.
Junior Tommy Zimmerman said he likes the competitiveness of the team.
Junior Declan Haub says they are on the right track.
A legends game was also played before the scrimmage.
The seniors on last season’s team were given their Live United Bowl Championship rings and a plaque for the Steve Henry Award was unveiled.
It is placed on the north concession stand on the west side of Welch Stadium.
