The Emporia State mens track team finished in 1st place and the women finished in 2nd place at the Midwest Classic.
Emporia State had 7 first place finishes and 8 provisional qualifiers.
Megan McManis won the pole vault with a personal best vault of 12 feet 9.5 inches and a provisional qualifier.
Brooks Lowe won the javelin with a provisional and personal best throw of 221-01.
Travis Morrison won the shot put with a provisional mark.
Brock Merz had the fastest time in the 400 Hurdles, 52.88, finishing with a personal best time and provisionally qualified for nationals.
Kingsley Bennett won the 100-meter dash with a personal best time of 10.61 seconds.
The men’s 4 x 100 relay team of Kingsley Bennett, Carter Cox, Jack Watson, and Isaac Tarango finished in 1st place with a provisional qualifying time for nationals.
Jack Watson also ran the anchor leg for the 4 by 400 relay team that finished in 1st place.
Watson was joined on the 4 x 400 relay by Julian Johnson, Guy Ramos, and Brock Merz.
Chase Rooney and Jake Johnson also provisionally qualified for the 400 hurdles.
Alyssa Conway had a provisional throw in the hammer and finished in 2nd place.
