The Emporia High girls soccer team extended its winning streak to four with a 10-0 rout over Wichita West Thursday night.
Seven different Lady Spartans scored goals.
Katie Smart, Emeil Bennett and Peyton Chanley each had two.
Bonnie Gardner, Eryn Templeton, Addy Marshall and Karah Cooper each had a goal. For Cooper, it was her first career goal.
Coach Oscar Macias says once the Lady Spartans are being able to put the ball in the back of the net, they’re a successful team.
Emporia High is now 6-5-1 on the season. They’ll travel to Washburn Rural on Tuesday.
