Probation is the sentence for a man who pleaded no contest to attempted sexual activity with a minor in Lyon County.
On Friday, Judge Jeff Larson sentenced Larry Kemmerer to 24 months of probation after Kemmerer’s no-contest plea to one count of attempted indecent liberties last month. Authorities say the alleged incident involved a teenager between ages 14 and 16 back in October.
Larson also approved an underlying prison term of 12 months, meaning time behind bars if Kemmerer violates probation, as well as lifetime postrelease supervision.
