Emporia Spartan Boxing had a split record in competition Saturday night in Kansas City.
49-year-old Robert Sieberns won his debut Master’s division bout by unanimous decision. Sieberns is the first master’s competitor to compete under the Spartan Boxing Banner.
Sieberns now begins his in-ring career with a record of 1-0.
20-year-old Pierce Moore lost his bout by a unanimous decision. Moore now holds an amateur record of 0-2.
Spartan Boxing will return to competition on May 8th when Junior Robles competes at the Golden Gloves National Tournament of Champions in Chester, Pennsylvania. This is Robles’ second consecutive trip to the national tournament.
