A preliminary hearing is coming Wednesday for a man accused in Lyon County District Court of sexually exploiting a child.
Chad Pretzer faces three separate counts related to at least one incident this past January. The legal complaint accuses Pretzer of working to “employ, use, persuade, induce, entice or coerce” a 16-year-old to take part in explicit behavior as well as possessing illegal images.
The hearing is set for 1:30 pm before Judge Laura Miser.
Later, a preliminary hearing is planned for Wednesday afternoon in a Lyon County drug and gun possession case.
Victor Barajas faces 10 total counts in Lyon County District Court, including but not limited to criminal possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a firearm while intoxicated, interference with and battery on law enforcement, meth possession and marijuana possession. Charges stem from an alleged incident in March and, in the gun possession component, an aggravated assault conviction in Lyon County in 2016.
The hearing is at 3:30 pm before Judge Laura Miser.
