Three area high school basketball players will be playing in the KBCA All-Star Games in June.
Emporia High’s Rebecca Snyder is on the blue girls team. Lebo’s Brooklyn Jones will be on the girls gold team.
Snyder averaged 15 points and eight rebounds for Emporia High helping them to a second consecutive trip to state.
Jones averaged 19 points and 4.5 steals per game helping Lebo to a runner-up finish in Class 1A-Division II. She was also named Sports In Kansas’ Player of the Year in 1A-DII.
Osage City’s Landon Boss is on the gold boys team.
Boss averaged 28.5 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.6 steals, and 2.9 assists per game for the Indians.
All three participated in the Flint Hills Optimist Club’s All-Star Games in April.
The games will take place at Kansas Wesleyan University on June 24th.
