Four Emporia High Spartans signed National Letters of Intent to continue their athletic careers Friday.
Rebecca Snyder will continue her basketball career up the Kansas Turnpike at Washburn. Snyder chose Washburn over Emporia State, Kansas Wesleyan, McPherson and Cowley.
Snyder averaged 15 points and eight rebounds helping the Emporia High girls basketball team back to the Class 5A state tournament.
Kyle Obermeyer will be continuing his track career at the University of Chicago.
Obermeyer is coming off a Centennial League championship in the 110m hurdles and is searching for another trip to state next week.
Kiana Flores-Delgado will continue her wrestling career at Ottawa University.
Hayden Basler will continue his track and cross country career at Friends University in Wichita.
